Power forward Mirza Teletovic will Bosnia and Herzegovina in the EuroBasket Qualifiers this summer

Mirza Teletovic of Caja Laboral Baskonia is among the 15 players named in the Bosnia and Herzegovina preliminary squad for the EuroBasket Qualification Round.

The 26-year-old played for his country at last year's EuroBasket in Lithuania and averaged 13.8 points and 5.8 rebounds.

He is currently engaged in a best-of-five play-off semi-final series in Spain with Caja Laboral against Real Madrid.

"I think we're going to have a very good team for the summer, the qualifications," Teletovic said recently to FIBA Europe.

Point guard Nemanja Gordic, shooting guard Nihad Dedovic, power forward Edin Bavcic and center Elmedin Kikanovic are other returning players who should feature in the team now coached by Aleksandar (Aco) Petrovic.

Among those not named this summer are EuroChallenge 2011 Final Four MVP Goran Ikonic, power forward Kenan Bajramovic and naturalized guard Henry Domercant.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will play in Qualification Round Group D against Georgia, the Netherlands, Romania and Latvia.

First up will be a vital clash at home with Latvia, another side that played at last year's EuroBasket, on 15 August.

The top two sides in each of the six Qualification Round groups, and the four best third-place teams will book their passage to the EuroBasket 2013 Final Round in Slovenia.

Bosnia and Herzegovina preliminary squad: Zach Wright, Nemanja Gordic, Muhamed Pasalic, Nihad Dedovic, Nemanja Mitrovic, Dalibor Persic, Ivan Opacak, Ante Masic, Mirza Teletovic, Edin Bavcic, Nedzad Sinanovic, Elmedin Kikanovic, Ognjen Kuzmic, Jozo Brkic and Jusuf Nurkic.
