The rosters that Bosnia and Herzegovina and Great Britain will have available during their upcoming EuroBasket 2015 2nd Qualifying Round Group A campaigns have undergone modifications due to unforeseen circumstances.

On Tuesday, British Basketball announced that Alasdair Fraser will not play in August's 2nd Qualifying Round, as he has picked up a knee injury and was forced to depart Great Britain's training camp.

"I am obviously disappointed not to be able to compete for GB [Great Britain] this summer but I wish the team and everyone involved great success," Fraser told

"I am sure they will do a great job and secure qualification for EuroBasket."

In the same statement, British Basketball added that head coach Joe Prunty was not expected to call up a replacement for the unlucky Scottish player at this time.

Fraser's injury leaves Great Britain with a 13-man roster for their back-to-back warm-up games against Belgium at the weekend: Kieron Achara, Devan Bailey, Eric Boateng, Daniel Clark, Paul Guede, Ashley Hamilton, Myles Hesson, Orlan Jackman, Kyle Johnson, Ben Mockford, Gareth Murray, Drew Sullivan, Devon Van Oostrum.

Meanwhile Matthew Bryan-Amaning has just joined his Great Britain team-mates in camp after participating in the NBA Summer League, but is not expected to step on the court in the friendlies against Belgium.

These 14 men are expected to form the core of the coach Prunty's team during the EuroBasket qualifiers (teams pick their 12-man squad ahead of each individual fixture of the 2nd Qualifying Round, so they can apply changes as they see fit between games).

Great Britain play against Iceland in the opening game of Group A on 10 August and three days later, they take on Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Coach Dusko Ivanovic has faced similar problems these last days, as three players have departed Bosnia and Herzegovina' training camp.

Miroslav Todic and Dalibor Persic, who picked up injuries over the weekend, as well as naturalised American DJ Cooper, will not play with the national team in the EuroBasket 2015 2nd Qualification Round.

No concrete reason has been given for Cooper's departure, but coach Ivanovic has confirmed it is definitive and he is already modifying his plans.

Milan Milosevic, who last suited up for the national team at EuroBasket 2011, has been called in as a replacement and will arrive in training camp soon.

Ivanovic also places a lot of trust to the four young players that will join the senior team in the following days, after leading the U20 team to the European Championship Division B title last Sunday.

Tournament MVP Jusuf Nurkic and fellow All-Tournament Team member Adin Vrabac headline this quartet, which also includes Nedim Buza and Stefan Glogovac.

Bosnia and Herzegovina will participate in a warm-up tournament in Italy starting 1st August.

Ivanovic has stated that he will announce the names of the 14-strong roster he wants to keep for the EuroBasket qualifiers following the completion of that tournament.

In the meantime, the Montenegrin coach has said his team has plenty of work left to do, following a 75-70 loss to Italy in a friendly international tournament in Sarajevo.

"Italy plays similarly to our opponents in the EuroBasket qualifiers, the United Kingdom and Iceland," Ivanovic said.

"They can use a small line-up with a lot of mobile players who penetrate and then kick-out the ball for an outside shot.

"We defended those situations badly and we have to fix that."

Ivanovic however was satisfied by the efforts of his players in the two other games of the Sarajevo tournament, against Montenegro and Belarus, which ended in victories for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
